The opportunity We are looking for a self-driven, motivated individual to join the Records Management Team within the Corporate Management Group (CMG). The Corporate Management Group leads corporate strategy, operations, and change for the ANAO. CMG provides strategic services and frameworks to ensure the efficient operations of the ANAO. CMG leads and supports a culture of continuous improvement, with innovative approaches to business processes that are fit for purpose, create value, and improve productivity across the ANAO. The key duties of the position include: Lead the management of the RMU to enable the effective day-to-day running of the functions. Manage and support a small team of Records staff and deliver team outcomes ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and value for money to the ANAO. Contribute to staff Performance and Career Development Plans ensuring the team is delivering the priorities within the team. Be responsible for the Records Management system and related information services to support efficient access, movement, storage, retention, and disposal of physical and electronic files. Lead the development, review, and maintenance of Information Governance policies and procedures relating to Records Management, Microsoft 365, and Teams environment. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, including delivery of training, communication, and governance of records and Information Management. Contribute to weekly reporting for executives, such as help desk statistics for RMU. Manage the implementation and testing of upgrades to records management systems. Manage the CabNet environment. Bring innovation via improvements in service delivery and operational efficiencies. Attend training and forums to stay up to date with records management industry developments and develop internal records management processes to remain compliant.
