We are seeking someone who is a strong, confident communicator, with excellent technical skills and a passion for learning. You will be flexible in your approach to passing on your knowledge and be able to work with a diverse range of people. Your work as a teacher will require digital skills as we use a range of programs to deliver our training and email to correspond with our students and colleagues. Please note: Applicants do not have to possess direct teaching experience, as we can train you on how to become a great VET Teacher. Eligibility/Other Requirements: To be successful in this position you must have the following: Possession of relevant formal vocational qualifications (relevant trade qualification or equivalent minimum, Australian equivalent); and Demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills and experience. To become a Teacher at CIT you must hold one of the following qualifications: Hold a Training and Assessment Certificate IV level qualification (such as a TAE40116 or equivalent); or where the full qualification is not held, hold as a minimum prior to employment as an employee in any form, qualifications as required by the Standards for RTOs; and Complete the full qualification within 12 months of engagement and be supervised by a suitably qualified person.
