You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.About us:Damascus Health Services is a 44 bed unit located in Brisbane Private Hospital in Spring Hill. We provide a confidential and flexible approach to the care and treatment of people with problems related to the use of alcohol and/or prescribed and over-the-counter drugs.As a Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include:Adhering to NSQHS standards and Hospital policy and procedureProviding evidenced based nursing careLiaising with the multidisciplinary teamEnsuring patient and staff safetyEnsuring eLearning and mandatory training is completed on a regular basisLiaising with Psychiatrists and other members of MDTCurrent Registration with AHPRA5+ years' experience in a Mental Health inpatient settingAddictions/detox experience preferable (not essential)A demonstrated interest in the field of addictive behaviours, specialisation in the field, substantial experience, or postgraduate qualifications or Continual Professional DevelopmentDemonstrate ability to deliver high quality patient care.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.Exceptional time management and organisational skillsCertificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE)Compliance with ACQSHC National standardsDemonstrated experience in eLearning platformsKnowledge of adult learning practices and contemporary education practicesPost graduate qualifications in mental health or addiction disorders (Desirable)Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.Our people are at the heart of our organisation - no matter the role, every day our people make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
