Overview
As the senior financial executive in the Limestone Coast LocalHealth Network (LHN), you will be responsible for the provision ofcomprehensive financial services across the LHN. You will be partof the leadership team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer,making a vital contribution to the leadership, performance andstrategic direction setting for the LHN. You will ensure strategicperformance targets are achieved as per the Health PerformanceAgreement with Department Health & Wellbeing (DHW).Specifically, you will provide strategic leadership for thefinancial services components of the LHN strategy development andimplementation in line with the overall SA Health strategic plan,participating in its development and implementation across the LHN.You will also provide high level leadership in financial managementservices to the health units across the LHN. This will includeregular reporting to key stakeholders including the board andensuring compliance with financial regulatory obligations. You willdevelop effective strategies for managing financial performance,monitoring, reporting and analysis, as well as undertakingeffective budget development, control and forecasting.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance ora related field. Substantial experience in the strategicmanagement of financial resources, undertaking financial businessanalysis and developing financial strategies to improve financialperformance is essential. You will bring a proven track record inthe effective development, implementation and management of a largecomplex operational budget and forecasting. Your ability to lead,manage and develop staff to work collaboratively will gohand-in-hand with your commitment to encouraging a culture ofservice delivery and shared responsibility.
