GTT is on a bold mission to revolutionise the construction industry.By using advanced manufacturing techniques, we produce high quality timber and engineered timber components that are used as a kit of parts to build anything from single units to entire neighbourhoods.We are pursuing a simpler and greener approach to construction by drastically reducing environmental impact and using sustainable building practices.Our team are entrepreneurial by nature, we like to challenge the norms and deliver innovative solutions.The Role: We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team.The role will involve overseeing contract management, administration, and contributing to the development of our kit of parts product.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction contracts, project management, and a proactive approach to ensuring compliance and efficiency.Responsibilities: Contract ManagementManage contracts with both private property developers and government clients from initiation to closure.Develop and manage contracts with our subcontractors and supply chain from initiation to closure.Collaborate with the project teams to develop subcontractor and supply chain contracts scope of works.Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and timelines.Negotiate contract terms and variations in collaboration with the legal and project teams.Monitor contract performance and address issues or disputes as they arise.Quantity Surveyor (QS) SkillsAssist in cost estimation, budgeting, and pricing strategies for projects.Analyse project specifications and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving and/or value-add opportunities.Kit of Parts Catalogue DevelopmentCollaborate with the design and engineering teams to inform the development and enhancement of our kit of parts catalogue.Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Implement best practices in contract management to optimise processes and minimise risks.About you: You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (construction management, engineering or similar).You have 5+ years' experience in a similar role (contracts / construction / project management).You're known for your exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with proven ability in managing relationships at all levels.You're a true collaborator, known to be able to roll with the punches and adapt to changes as they arise.You're ready to help revolutionise the construction industry and drive real change in a stagnating sector.You're dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, with a proven track record of adhering to and championing company safety policies and regulations.How to apply: If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply via SEEK with your resume and a cover letter outlining why you are the right person for the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
