About the Role
As an Associate Director, Data Services you’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team that is working on the implementation of APS 112 and APS 113 Capital Reform within the institutional division as an Associate Director Data Insights. This is a key role within the Institutional Capital Reform Program (ICRP) that will support business owners, provide timely analysis and ensure the smooth execution on regular reporting processes.
Our talented team in ICRP leverages data, analytics and reporting to formulate insights and work with project and business stakeholders to develop solutions compliant with APS 112 and APS 113 changes. Your skillset will enable you to work independently to ensure the delivery of regular reporting, influence system requirements and business decisions by translating insights into practical business recommendations and presenting data in digestible, logical and compelling ways.

Role Type: 12 months Fixed-term
Role Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs/week
What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Source, organise and manage data from different institutional and risk systems.
2. Engage business and system stakeholders.
3. Execute regular reporting and liaise with the broader team.
4. Deliver actionable/value-add insights.
5. Support project business analyst to elicit system requirements, document logic and test new/updated data elements required for capital calculation.
6. Support credit policy changes and impact assessment relating to new standards or data gaps.
7. Business engagement and communication of changes in process/policy.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
1. Knowledge of Institutional systems, products and processes is highly desirable; RAY, RAZOR, OCP.
2. Tertiary qualified, preferably in a Business related field.
3. Strong problem solving and quantitative analysis skills; ability to identify and analyse information quickly and efficiently and translate into commercial solutions.
4. Highly skilled in managing a diverse set of stakeholders and demonstration of strong and well-structured verbal, written communication, and presentation skills to a senior audience.
5. Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
6. Leading the delivery of outcomes that meet stakeholders’ expectation, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional environment; supporting staff to engage with stakeholders to elicit issue detail and requirements.
7. Knowledge of the APRA prudential standards (e.g. APS112, APS113) would be an advantage but not necessary.
8. Advanced proficiency in Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft and Atlassian products.
