Emerald Hospital is located 300kms west of the Queensland coastline. The population of the surrounding community is approximately 28,000 with 15,000 at Emerald. Emerald Hospital is a 32-bed facility, has two operating theatres and approximately 160 staff delivering services across Emergency, Acute Care, Perioperative Services, Maternity, Infusion Services, Hospital in the Home, Child Health, Mental Health, Palliative Care, Community, and Primary Care.
About the role:
Emerald Nursing Inpatient Unit and Ambulatory Care has a permanent position for an Enrolled Nurse who supports a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife in the provision of person-centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.
* Recognise and respond appropriately, and report sudden alterations, in the patient's condition resulting in the Enrolled Nurse's workload changes, in a timely manner to the Registered Nurse / Midwife.
About you:
Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Experience in Emergency Department and Aged Care is highly desirable.
* Demonstrates sound evidence-based clinical skills for an Enrolled Nurse and knowledge in the area of practice and setting working within the scope of practice for an Enrolled Nurse.
* Committed to the delivery of high quality, safe patient centred care, practice, and service.

Total remuneration value of up to $54,479 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $35.92 - $38.12 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
