We are currently seeking Support Workers who are passionate about providing high quality care to our aged care clients across the Gladstone Region.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assisting consumers to perform important daily activities.
* Facilitating daily personal hygiene and dressing tasks.
* Performing home based tasks such as food preparation and housework.
* Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping and taking clients to appointments.
* Providing transport.
* In-home respite.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience as a Support Worker in the Aged Care and/or Disability Sector is desirable.
* Must have Cert III or equivalent, First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, Police Clearance, Blue & Yellow Cards, and Drivers Licence.
* Must have own, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Excellent communication skills in customer service.
* Ability to fulfil our standards and values when performing tasks.
* Have an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly.
* Can work autonomously and as part of a small team.
