About the Team
The ad sales team is responsible for the advertising vision, development and growth of our largest advertising partnerships. This team was recently formed, and is seeking additional founding team members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash’s core categories, starting with enterprise restaurant and consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. The growing DoorDash ads business will quickly become the single best place for merchants and brands to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Ad Sales & Partnerships Manager, you will build partnerships that create tangible value for both DoorDash, merchants and CPG advertisers. In this role, you will manage the ads strategy across a focused portfolio of restaurant and CPG accounts, and drive adoption of our growing ads and promotions offering. You will also work cross-functionally with account management, marketing, analytics, and product to innovate on our future approach and solutions.

* Be a founding member of the DoorDash Ads & Promos team
* Lead end-to-end advertising conversations across a portfolio of enterprise restaurant advertisers
* Drive product/feature adoption, and ultimately grow advertiser value and sustainable revenue for DoorDash
* Lead and develop a team of individual contributors (Account Executives, Account Managers, Franchise Account Executives) to consistently exceed business growth and product/feature adoption goals, grow advertiser value, and drive sustainable revenue for DoorDash
* Develop the overarching sales strategy (including annual and quarterly plans) and commensurate processes to enable future scale of the team and business
* Establish trusted senior level customer relationships and deliver thought leadership both internally and externally in the restaurant industry.
* Represent the voice of the enterprise restaurant advertiser needs to influence our Ads & Promos product roadmap and go to market strategy
We’re excited about you because…
* You are a consultative seller with 5 - 10 years of experience in digital media
* You are an experienced advertising sales leader with a demonstrated track record of high impact consultative selling in digital media/ecommerce
* You deftly use data and insights to inform strategies, and can effectively move sales motions through a large and growing organization mapped to direct and indirect business priorities
* You have a firm understanding of ecommerce/performance marketing/media, and are savvy with digital advertising measurement from attribution to funnel metrics
* You have strong written/verbal communication and presentations skills, and experience influencing across executive stakeholders both internally and externally
* You hire and recruit top and diverse talent to drive outsized impact on the business and contribute positively to DoorDash’s culture
* You diligently manage a sales pipeline and can juggle both short- and mid-term impact
* Nice to Have: You have experience working directly with restaurant or CPG advertisers or similar
