About the role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead the sales team, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer relationships. Reporting directly to the APAC Director, you will develop and execute a strategic sales plan, manage key accounts, and ensure the continued success of their business in an increasingly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
* Identify new market segments, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
* Lead business development initiatives to expand market share and customer base.
* Drive sales growth and ensure revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded.
* Monitor sales performance metrics, identify trends, and take corrective actions when necessary.
* Prepare accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
* Set clear goals and provide coaching, training, and motivation to maximize team effectiveness.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the sales department.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
* Negotiate high-value contracts and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
* Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with customer needs.
* Provide insights and recommendations for product development and pricing strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the professional tools, industrial equipment, or manufacturing sector.
* Strong experience in B2B sales, key account management, and business development.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
* Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
