Your new role
The Technology Service Desk Officer is responsible for the adequate provision of Level 1 support services across the organisation, along with the procurement and management of hardware and software assets, under the guidance of the ICT Service Desk and GRC Superintendent.
Location : Perth WA
* Provide Level 1 Support to employees, external clients, and stakeholders
* Create, maintain and deactivate user accounts, email accounts, exchange distribution lists and set permissions for network resources.
* Provide Level 1 Support for Microsoft operating systems, office applications, network, video conferencing, mobiles and end-user hardware and software deployment requests using the Technology Service Desk
* Assist in the coordination and delivery of Information Technology user inductions and training
* Prepare training materials and develop Information Technology-related informational instructions or guides to assist users
What you'll need to succeed
* Developed understanding of Information Technology (IT) and IT asset manufacturers and products, including Microsoft technologies, Apple devices, and Dell hardware.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of providing Service Desk support across geographically dispersed offices and teams.
* Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and prioritise numerous tasks.
* Highly developed customer service skills with experience operating in a client-centric service provider environment.
* Demonstrated understanding of the importance of accuracy for tracking and maintaining inventory levels with the goal of just-in-time efficiency
