Qualified Maintenance Fitter, Turner & Machinist (C10)Fletcher International Exports – Dubbo NSW
This is a full time position | $45 base hourly rate (Casual $56.25) Your work will be challenging, and the successful applicant will be required to work in industrial manufacturing and agricultural environments to meet strict maintenance deadlines. Our facility has not only meat processing facilities but also a grain terminal and harvesting facilities, your role will require you to work with grain harvest commodity facilities providing you with a varied range of tasks. An advanced knowledge and all round ability to carry out a variety of fitter, turner & machinist tasks with flexibility and willingness to learn is preferred.
Set up and adjust machines and equipment.Fit and assemble parts, tools.Dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts.Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools.Be a part of installations, expansions and new projects as they develop.In this role you will be responsible for general mechanical maintenance that includes mechanical repair on a day to day basis as well as ensuring downtime is minimized. In addition, you will develop and implement systems that will maximise the efficiency and minimise cost of utilities. You will also recommend and develop initiatives that will enhance productivity, efficiency and profitability of the plant.
Experience and Qualifications Required: To apply for this role, you will need to be a licensed Fitter and Turner with experience in a maintenance role preferably within a manufacturing environment. We are seeking someone who is positive, with a good attitude who is willing to be an active member of the team. Having a willingness to learn and lots of flexibility is a must.
