As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering client relationships. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting a comprehensive market scan to identify potential prospects within existing relationships. Assessing and following up on sales leads and opportunities. Building and managing a robust pipeline of prospects, including projecting sales value opportunities and likely commitment timeframes. Researching and qualifying prospects, meticulously recording details into the PSA system. Negotiating and sourcing quotations for prospects, preparing proposals, and coordinating the submission of tender documents. Facilitating peer-to-peer meetings between internal stakeholders and prospects. Effectively closing deals and negotiating contracts, overseeing execution with precision. Assisting in sourcing potential resources to expand the business development team. Providing weekly status reports on opportunities. Ensuring high-quality client onboarding experiences. Key Performance Indicators: Your success will be measured against the following key performance indicators: Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets. Delivering a target number of proposal presentations to prospects per month. Achieving an agreed rate of conversion from prospect to contracted client. Experience, Skills, Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following: 5+ years of experience in IT sales/business development. Must have recent experience as a BDM within an MSP Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management abilities. Proficiency in ConnectWise, MS Office, and other IT systems.
