Your new roleAs a part of your role, you will be completing a range of duties (but not limited to):
Manage site operations, including planning, scheduling, logistics, and compliance reporting.Supervise electrical maintenance, contractor activities, and ensure safety compliance.Coordinate site activities, lead meetings, and build relationships with stakeholders.Maintain electrical and substation systems, supervise contractor maintenance, and offer technical support.Monitor work schedules, manage tradespeople/technicians, and ensure contractors comply with contract terms.Handle maintenance projects, procure spare parts/materials, and enforce SOPs and isolation procedures for HV/LV equipment.Act as the Principal's on-site representative under the Workplace Health and Safety Act.What you'll need to succeed QLD Electrical LicenceDriver's LicencePrevious experience with SCADAExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExtensive experience in the operation of a variety of high voltage isolating devices up to 132kvAbility to DIDO to MoranbahAbility to pass a pre-employment medicalWhat you'll get in returnIn return, you will secure a full-time position with a thriving business, working a 7 on, 7 off roster, days only, with 10-hour shifts.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package of $160,000, including superannuation.
Additionally, you will be provided with a work vehicle for use during your shifts and accommodation in Moranbah.
