We require an Engineering Coordinator to join our Perth / Welshpool based design team, to coordinate and contribute on a range of minerals and metals projects in Australia and around the world. The key function of this role is maintaining design continuity and quality, and acting with the authority of our Engineering Manager to ensure constraints on his time don't lead to bottlenecks in our projects. The role will suit a Senior to Lead level Electrical Engineer with extensive resource sector experience and the charm, smarts and get up and go to project your communication skills across multiple projects to maintain design momentum. Your role may involve working across multiple projects or being committed to 1 project, while also working with our engineering manager to develop procedures, coordinate and execute design reviews, attend meetings on behalf of the Engineering Manager, turn lessons learned into meaningful feedback and amendment of procedures etc. This role is essentially a technical the bottlenecker, and would suit any electrical engineer with high emotional intelligence, as well as strong engineering skills, who is looking for a diverse, occasionally hectic but ultimately rewarding role, working with some very skilled resource sector professionals. In the last three years ECG has grown from sixty staff to over 200, based on word of mouth over the quality of work we do across the mining and energy sector globally. This role is key to maintaining quality and consistency as we continue to grow, however this growth has already seen ECG engage a Quality Specialist, so any creation or development of procedures will see you receiving solid support. Key Requirements A solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principles relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate. Experience in the interface between client expectation & technical project delivery with Tier 1 to Junior Miners. Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification Experience on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope LV design experience Major project design experience throughout the design cycle Experience / exposure to project delivery, driving a job, occasionally working across multiple projects The ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises good judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior Due to the diverse nature of this role ECG are willing to talk to anyone who feels they can make a case that this is a role for them.
