The Company An established and highly regarded business in the health sector is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its expanding team. Newly created, the firm is positioned for significant growth through a number of strategic acquisitions as well as consistent organic growth. This role will play a pivotal role in driving key decisions from both a financial and management reporting perspective for its biggest cost centre. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager and collaborating with a high-performing finance team, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the business's ongoing success. Key responsibilities include: · Preparing monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports. · Delivering annual statutory accounts and managing audit processes. · Analyzing financial data to address inquiries and support strategic decisions. · Developing budgets, forecasts, and financial recommendations. · Producing cash flow statements and monitoring expenditures. · Conducting internal audits and maintaining compliance. · Leveraging data to prepare regular financial estimates and reports. Your Skills & Experience · Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. · CPA or CA qualification (CA preferred but not essential). · Experience in a Big Four or mid-tier accounting firm is highly regarded. · Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with TM1, Power BI, SAP, or Cognos is advantageous. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail. · Effective communication and organizational skills. · Proactive, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
