Clinical Governance Officer – Mental Health
Make a positive impact in mental health services by supporting credentialing, compliance, and quality improvement processes for mental health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support credentialing and compliance processes for mental health roles
* Contribute to the development and delivery of mental health training programs
* Investigate clinical incidents and complaints, and contribute to professional improvement plans
* Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement activities
* Provide subject matter advice to stakeholders and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Mental Health or Psychology, with current AHPRA registration
* At least 3 years of full-time work experience in a mental health role, post-registration, within the last 6 years
* Experience in clinical interviewing, credentialing, and delivering clinical education and training
* Skills in clinical incident investigations, complaints management, and peer review processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proficiency in IT systems
* Flexibility and adaptability in highly changing environments
