Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the project execution.
* Plan and organize the setup of project baseline in Fluor’s project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis.
* Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.
* Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.
* Provide meaningful, accurate data that supports project status and forecast to go whilst aligning baselines to cost.
* Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
* Supervise and manage the change management process with respect to the project schedule.
About You:
* Career aspirations to work on interesting and challenging projects.
* Must have experience as a Lead Planner for a large-sized project for a medium-sized project.
* Industry-specific experience in all facets and phases of a project: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Startup.
* Site-based experience preferential, especially shutdown planning in the mining industry.
* Worked on and around brownfield mining sites.
* Strong commitment to team safety.
* Site experience is highly regarded.
