As Trainee Construction Supervisor you’ll be the driving force behind home construction, ensuring highest of quality, meeting tight deadlines, and prioritizing safety. In this role, you will be responsible for the following: Ensure homes adhere to specifications, plans, quality standards, and timelines. Conduct timely inspections during construction phases and report issues to the Construction Manager. Coordinate and organise labour effectively, ensuring compliance with Carlisle procedures. Complete write-ups on frame, brickwork, lock-up, and fixes weekly and submit to the Construction Manager with attached invoices. Ensure Carlisle Homes meets its OH&S responsibilities and that trades and suppliers fulfil their OH&S duties. Foster strong relationships with key internal and external clients. We are ideally seeking candidates with: Certificate IV in Building and Construction Proven past experience in the Domestic Volume Building Industry. Production home construction experience with procedures and techniques either from trade-based experience in the sector or from work for another Builder. Ability to communicate effectively in a professional, assertive and friendly manner. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise and multi-task. Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve required outcomes. Effective relationship building skills.
