As a Podiatrist, you will provide podiatry services in clinical areas including but not limited to high risk and diabetic management, pod paediatrics, palliative care, biomechanics, nail surgery, wound management, skin and nail pathology, orthotic prescription and manufacture, education and health promotion, and contribute to service development within the health service, evaluating service development and making recommendations. Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry profession and be eligible for full practising membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional associations' accredited continuous professional development program. With experience in clinical podiatry practice, you will possess excellent customer service skills and the capacity to implement service improvement activities. Promoting a client-centred approach, you will be committed to supporting clients, carers, and families across the Patient Journey, providing effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care, and prompt follow-up.
