About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Grocery Manager to join a well established store in Karratha. This role will directly support the Store Manager in leading and growing the grocery portfolio of the business. The ideal candidate will be a leader who is passionate about their team, achieving results, excelling in store standards, and exceeding customer expectations. Previous Department Management experience in a fast paced grocery environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate your department team on a daily basis
* Act as a strong team player with a 'can do' approach
* Manage profit and margin targets effectively
* Deliver on Grocery Department standards and service
* Coach and develop your direct team in day-to-day operations
* Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Control stock orders and stock on hand to meet customer needs
* Build upon the store culture of customer engagement
Key Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in a supermarket/grocery environment
* Motivational leader, coach, and mentor
* Strong business acumen, KPI-driven, and results-focused
* Customer-first approach
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Passion for food, service, and retail
