Warehouse Traineeship at Yara Pilbara
Located on the beautiful Burrup Peninsular, Yara Pilbara is home to one of the world's largest ammonia production facilities which produces fertiliser to help feed the world.
About the Role
This traineeship is a two-year program where you will be provided with on-the-job training to learn all aspects of warehousing and supply operations.
The primary function of the Warehouse is to support Yara Pilbara Operations by maintaining and supplying inventory and adhering to warehousing and procurement standards.
* Assist in the receipt, storage, and delivery of various materials and products.
* Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
* Perform basic inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and stocktaking.
* Support the maintenance and organisation of the warehouse.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will ideally have:
* A genuine interest and motivation in pursuing a career within the warehousing and logistics industry.
* Completed secondary education to Year 11 as a minimum, or completion of relevant pre-vocational qualifications.
* Ability to work effectively/contribute as part of a diverse team with an inclusive culture.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, curious, and willing to learn to accelerate your development.
* A desire to further your career.
* A good level of physical fitness and commitment to maintaining your health and wellbeing.
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening tests.
* The ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Security Card & Maritime Security Identification Card.
Requirements
* Driver's License.
