These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen and renewable energy facilities.About the Role:Fyfe is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Adelaide team to work on project portfolios across the energy and resources sectors, specifically mining, oil, and gas. This is a senior position that requires an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients, and mentor junior team members.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the mechanical behaviour and performance of our designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to ensure that our products meet industry regulations and exceed client expectations.What we are looking for:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification and relevant technical, commercial experience and demonstrated leadership.Typically, 10+ years experience.Possess a strong understanding of ASME B31.3 and AS 2885.Experienced with Caesar and Autopipe programs.Proficient with EPDECOM.General understanding of CP systems.Experience within the Australian oil and gas or mining industry preferred (other industry experience also welcomed).Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements.A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work.Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems.Ability to work independently on multiple projects.Demonstrated team player.Culture:Fyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity and the delivery of value.
