With this in mind, they are passionate to find a Freight forwarding Operator with a forte for working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, someone who owns the role at hand, and can draw on their freight forwarding experience to make decisions, mediating with clients and carriers to safeguard the efficient and timely transportation of goods. Daily responsibilities will include Direct and manage the movement of freight through numerous transportation modes, predominately air, then sea, and land. Negotiating, liaise and document rates and terms with carriers and service providers Coordinate, preparing and processing all necessary documentation, including airwaybills, customs declarations, and invoices.
