About the Opportunity
Community Mental Health Emergency Team (COMHET) caters for people dealing acute mental health issues in community.
COMHET provides telephone and face to face Mental Health triage, assessment and short term intervention for residents in the Liverpool/Fairfield region.
You will be working with a team of dynamic professionals who are passionate about Mental Health.

What You'll be Doing
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating consumers' recovery plans.
The role is also responsible for non-clinical tasks including participation in quality improvement activities, clinical supervision and participation in administrative responsibilities as required.

Relevant qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or CSU Graduates: Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health). Please provide a detailed description of your interest and motivation in applying for this role highlighting your relevant skills & experience in providing assessment and treatment for consumers of the mental health service. Using an example, describe a time where you have had to work as part of a team to solve a problem.
Outline the communication skills used and how you ensured the problem would not occur again. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
