About The Role You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing high-quality administrative support to the Regional Director and Management Team. You will provide supervision and guidance to administrative staff and include business-as-usual activities to supplement the workflow and ensure a high level of administrative support is provided.
Duties And Skills Involved Oversee and coach a team of administrative staff in their daily duties and responsibilities by providing effective supervision, performance management, training and support.Provide a central point of contact for the provision of quality information to regional staff on a range of financial, information management, records management, and other administrative issues.Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to QBuild customers including coordinating responses to escalated customer queries, ensuring a high-quality service through the use of interpersonal skills including negotiation, and dispute resolution.Operate effectively as a critical support position to the section contributing to a high standard of service delivery and achievement of business outcomes, including program delivery.Prepare, monitor and maintain various reports required by the business and coordinate the sections reporting and work management.Manage and maintain systems and office procedures that supports the region, including the Regional Director mailbox.Provide a high level of administrative support and advice to the Regional Director and managers, including matters from the Office of the Executive Director (OED), Regional Operations, research, preparation and actioning of correspondence.Support the coordination, preparation and quality assurance of briefing notes, executive correspondence, and ministerial responses to ensure the timeliness and quality of responses.Build and maintain relationships across the department, demonstrate professionalism, be an enthusiastic and positive contributor to QBuild's culture.Provide an efficient and high standard of customer service to QBuild customers, including coordinating responses to escalated customer queries.All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
