We are currently seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Darwin! In this role, you will handle a range of accounting tasks including producing financial reports, preparing management accounts and preparing BAS and tax returns for a variety of entities.

About the role
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Producing & maintaining financial reports, using Xero, MYOB and Reckon software
* Preparing tax returns, FBT & financial statements for different business entity types
* Preparing BAS & IAS returns
* Calculating and reconciliation of payroll tax
* Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI's for clients
* Assisting with the development of junior colleagues
This role is both challenging & rewarding, allowing you to progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure. Working closely with the Director and other senior team members, you will assist with providing advice & ad hoc advisory work to deliver a range of accounting solutions to a diverse and growing client base.
About you
The ideal candidate will demonstrate established accounting experience, with a relevant tertiary qualification and will be studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA qualifications. You'll have experience preparing tax returns for a variety of entities for small to medium size businesses and the ability to generate financial statements & management reports. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail, being proactive and personable.
