Arup's purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.As a Social Value and Planning Consultant your focus will be to support the delivery of current and future pipeline across Arup's NSW/ACT Social Value, Planning, Environment and Sustainability teams delivering projects across Australia and in the Pacific.You will have proven consulting experience in urban planning or community development with a focus on social impact assessment, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and project management/coordination.Experience working to relevant NSW State and Commonwealth Government, World Bank and/ or Asian Development Bank frameworks is highly desirable.The Opportunity Preparing social impact (SIAs) and socio-economic impact assessments (SEIAs) to support environmental and development approvals for a wide range of infrastructure and property projects in the water, transport, maritime, energy, science industry and technology sectors; Undertaking social and strategic planning policy reviews, social research, local site/context analysis and baseline socio-economic data analysis; Input into and preparation of stakeholder engagement plans and engagement outcomes reports; Preparation of proposals that respond to client needs and contextual drivers; and Development of project management skills.
