As a member of the Sydney 'Urban Planning, Design and Sustainability' team, your primary technical role includes: Lead member of the Urban Planning, Design and Sustainability team, based in the Sydney office with a focus on strategic urban planning, urban design, master planning, and international city development programs in the Asia Pacific Region. Work with the Principal, Urban Planning, Design and Sustainability to deliver quality technical client services for Ramboll projects in Sydney, NSW and the Asia Pacific Region. Grow the size, capabilities, and client base of the Urban Planning, Design and Sustainability team in NSW, Australia, and the Asia Pacific Region. Co-design a dynamic business strategy for a viable and reputable urban planning, master planning, and urban design business. Your role also includes: Participate in the growth of the Urban Planning, Design and Sustainability practice through a focus on quality and fostering strong working relationships with clients. Establish and maintain relationships with clients externally and within the business to identify, pursue, and win new work opportunities. Build a strong backlog of small and large projects to enable organic growth of the team. Mentor and train the junior members of the urban planning team. Actively represent Ramboll Australia and the Sydney Office capabilities in the industry. Experience in urban planning for international projects (such as South East Asia). Interest in both domestic (Australia) and international (SE Asia) project work, networks, and client relationships. Experience with urban planning, as well as capabilities/interest in master planning, planning policy, strategic planning, and smart cities. Interest to work across a range of sectors, locations, and/or client markets. Strong understanding of the importance to win, lead, and manage opportunities and projects for a profitable business.
