About the role
The Senior Manager, EMR Optimisation is accountable to the Director, Digital Design & EMR Optimisation and is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of EMR Optimisation activities across CALHN. The Senior Manager provides professional and clinical oversight to a multi-disciplinary team from a range of clinical and administrative specialty areas. The role has responsibility for leading stakeholder engagement to influence and support system enhancements, configuration, business workflows and coordination of EMR Optimisation team to ensure that functionality within the Sunrise Electronic Medical Record (Sunrise EMR) can support the effective and efficient management of our health services, and support CALHN and SA Health in achieving its broader strategic objectives.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for operationalising the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) optimisation strategy to ensure processes comply with guidelines, standards and best practice. The incumbent will be accountable for the cost-effective management of the EMR Optimisation Program within the span of control. They will have a high degree of autonomy, requiring independent judgement and decision making.
Qualifications
4. Appropriate Allied Health qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, giving eligibility for registration with relevant professional body and/or membership with the relevant professional association.
