The Creative Lab, within the Brand and Content team, is an integral part of Latitude's ambition to create, drive and tell the Latitude brand story.We are seeking a talented and creative mid weight UX Designer, with UI abilities, to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily focus on designing and enhancing the user experience and interface of our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX/UI design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences that connect our web activity and other touch-points.What is it like to work with us? Because we believe a positive work place and team is one we want to turn up to each day and one in which we want to do our best for.We're organised, driven by the business goals as well as the creative challenge, and are made up of really talented people.In this role, you'll: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketers, product managers, insights and data analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to design and implement innovative user experiences for our website.Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback on current website design and identify areas for improvement.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and coherence across all digital touch-points.Analyse user behaviour and feedback to continuously optimise and refine website design and functionality.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and apply this knowledge to enhance our website.Ensure all designs align with our brand guidelines and create a cohesive experience for our users.Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.About you: Proven industry experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a significant focus on UX. Experience in the financial sector is advantageous.Proficiency: Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, particularly in website design.User-Centered Design: Comprehensive understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies.Skilled in developing both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, with experience in planning and conducting user tests.Proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the ability to extract customer insights and prioritise user stories and functional requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex user needs into simple and effective design solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Sound like you?
