Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View Position Description About the Role Flinders University's Marketing and Student Recruitment team is evolving in 2024, with an exciting opportunity for a Videographer to join their team! In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging content for Flinders University's marketing and communications platforms, including animation, video, photography, and other digital assets. As a key part of the Creative Studio within the Brand Team, you will leverage your creativity to enhance the University's profile and reputation both nationally and internationally. You will also play a significant role in developing innovative in-house campaigns, with a primary focus on editing and animation to engage our audiences. Responsibilities: Telling the story of Flinders University through the creation of creative content. Producing content for a range of purposes across various digital channels including photography, film, animation, and other digital mediums. Ensuring creative content produced meets the brief, conforms to University branding guidelines, and is created to industry and technical standards. About You As the Videographer, you will be a problem-solver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to work cooperatively in a team context and engage with various internal stakeholders. You will bring a proven track record in producing multimedia content for web, social media, and signage. Additionally, you will have experience in using industry-standard Adobe software, such as Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other emerging technologies. Please note, experience in animation and editing is highly desired. Qualifications: Experience with operating professional-grade camera equipment, and proven ability providing guidance and assistance in usage of equipment. Completion of a degree in film or video, design (specialising in animation), communications, media studies, marketing, or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience. Significant problem-solving capabilities and proven ability to work independently, determine and prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
