The Client:
A specialised town planning practice providing expert advice and cost-effective solutions to secure project approvals. With a strong track record in commercial, industrial, and residential developments, experienced consultants lead teams and collaborate with a network of land development professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage town planning projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Prepare planning reports and studies, project proposals, and cost estimates.
* Mentor and supervise junior planners, ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Actively pursue new business opportunities and assist in developing proposals.
* Coordinate project resources, manage budgets, and monitor project timelines.
* Provide technical input on complex planning issues and resolve any project challenges.
Selection Criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Environmental Planning, or related field.
* Ideally 4+ years of experience in town planning and project management.
* Strong knowledge of statutory and strategic planning, and related legislation.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and resources.
* Excellent communication, client liaison, and business development skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous professional development.
