Spend your time working in the beautiful Wilsons Promontory National Park Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure a positive visitor experience for all visitors and campers Bring your high levels of creativity to help shape and grow a retail outlet within the campground About the role As part of the Customer Service Officer team, you will be the face of Parks Victoria to greet visitors. Part of your daily responsibilities, you will be assisting customers in their enquiries, checking in guest staying in the park, campground patrols, answering incoming calls and responding to emails. Customer Services Officers work at different work locations within the park including the visitor centre and general store in Tidal River, Yanakie entrance station and the Wilsons Promontory Lightstation. The lightstation requires a 3 km walk to get to the site and to stay overnight for multiple nights. Customer Service Officers provide lighthouse tours, housekeeping of the cottages and grounds at the lightstation precinct. About the Team Wilsons Promontory National Park sits at the southernmost tip of the Australian mainland, offering visitors stunning scenery and wildlife. Tidal River is the main visitor hub for Wilsons Promontory National Park. This picturesque spot offers a range of roofed accommodation options and 484 campsites to make this one of Victoria's favourite National Parks. Tidal River has a General Store that stocks basic supermarket items, a range of souvenirs and camping gear. It also offers takeaway food and drinks. Parks Victoria's vision is to be a world-class parks service, ensuring healthy parks for healthy people. It is a statutory authority with responsibility for managing an expanding and diverse estate covering more than 4 million hectares, or about 17 per cent, of Victoria.
