As a Learning Designer, you will play an integral role as part of our Legal Product Lab Team. Ideally, you will be based in our Melbourne office, while we are also open to candidates based in our Sydney office. You will design, develop, and implement high-quality eLearning courses and materials to meet compliance training requirements of our clients. You will work closely with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective online learning experiences that meet the needs of our firm.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content requirements.
2. Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360 Rise, Storyline, Adobe design suite or similar).
3. Create engaging and interactive multimedia content, including videos, quick reference guides, simulations, and assessments.
4. Ensure that eLearning materials are user-friendly, accessible, and inclusive and comply with industry standards.
5. Manage the portfolio of training suites with different clients, keeping them updated in line with agreed timelines.
6. Maintain Compliance Training contacts, content, and licensing information.
7. Stay up-to-date with eLearning trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve our offerings.
This is a part-time permanent role for 3 days a week. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work; however, flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
About You:
1. Experience in designing and developing eLearning content and materials, preferably in legal, professional services, financial services, or within a complex organisation.
2. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, multimedia software, and learning management systems.
3. An understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
4. A degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field is preferred.
5. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
6. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. The ability to work autonomously as well as thriving in a collaborative group environment.
