Join our Team on this 12 month Maturnity leave contract as a Director of Marketing, Kayo Sports. We are looking for an exceptional marketing leader with a customer first outlook and track record of delivering growth in dynamic and highly competitive environments. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Kayo, this role will sit on the Kayo leadership team and will be responsible for building the Kayo brand and delivering subscription growth and retention.
7. Lead the development of brand strategy including positioning, communications platforms, creative and identity/guidelines, striving for consistency
8. Develop and manage the Kayo communications and advertising strategy, identifying areas to grow the brand as the business scales and competitive landscape changes
9. Plan and execute media, creative and content tasks across marketing channels in line with best practice and overall brand strategy
10. Work closely with numerous teams to deliver consistent and up-to-date marketing messaging through all customer touch points
11. Develop and write creative briefs, input creative team on the development of creative assets for campaigns/initiatives
12. Manage all marketing partnerships with internal and external agencies and partners
13. Commission internal research team to provide insights to support marketing strategies
14. Ensure all legal requirements and approvals are met for marketing activities
15. Distribute content to external partners where required
Skills and Experiences We’re Looking For
16. Be MBA, Masters or degree qualified
17. Have 8 yrs + marketing and brand experience within a fast paced, retail service environment such as advertising, sales promotion, retailing or in a media focused business
18. Be passionate about the power of brand and love content
19. Be curious about evolving marketing philosophies, tools and practices
20. Have experience directly managing creative teams
21. Ideally have experience in media, e-commerce or subscription environments
