Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barista Manager to join our team. As a leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring smooth service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Manage a team of baristas, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent service and high performance.
2. Coffee Quality Control: Maintain high standards of coffee quality, consistency, and excellence in every cup.
3. Customer Experience: Foster a welcoming community-focused environment where customers feel valued, engaged, and satisfied.
4. Inventory Management: Handle inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize store operations.
5. Opening & Closing Procedures: Ensure security and readiness for each shift, including end-of-day reconciliation and till operations.
6. Till Operations: Accurately manage cash handling, sales, and transactions.
7. Training & Development: Train and mentor baristas, promoting skill development and high performance.
8. Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
1. Experience: At least 2 years in a barista role, with leadership or supervisory experience.
2. Coffee Expertise: Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, machine operation, and maintenance.
3. People Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both with customers and staff.
4. Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying upbeat and solution-focused.
5. Organizational Strength: Strong time management, attention to detail, and experience in stock control and cash handling.
