This role offers a varied scope of work from traditional graphic design work including anything from supporting strategic framework documents to helping with campaign design for our Veteran Services. Not to mention contribution to large scale commemorative events such as Anzac Day and Remembrance Day to name a few.This role also contributes leadership, creativity and ideas to their Creative team colleagues and other projects within the Marketing and Communications Business Unit, enhancing their colleagues' collective creative output, energy and innovation.This is a permanent full-time position, that may occasionally require travel and work outside normal business hours (for which there is time in lieu).What's required to succeed: Tertiary qualification in Graphic or Visual Design, Marketing or a closely related field. 5+ years' experience in an internal Graphic or Visual Design role or similar role.Experience in consistently implementing and ideating assets within a consistent visual brand identity.Experience in consistently delivering creative assets which meet internal client needs while requiring minimal supervision.Strong graphic and digital designer with expert skill across the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Acrobat.Knowledge of and ability to apply best practices for a range of creative outputs including: EDM, web, social media, out-of-home, event materials, large format and offset printing, merchandise and digital publishing.Ability to manage workload and competing priorities.Design for print experience necessary.Art direction experience on-set ideal.Experience writing photography briefs favourable.Photography and/or video production/post-production experience favourable.Embracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need.
