Based in Allied Health and Human Performance at the City East campusFull-time, continuing positionSalary: $100,322 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)About the RoleYou will deliver teaching materials and conduct associated administrative duties across Public Health programs, as well as facilitate student learning in work integrated learning settings. You will utilise contemporary professional / discipline-related knowledge to develop a program of research aligned to Public Health.Core ResponsibilitiesUnder direction, prepare and conduct learning activities including lectures, tutorials, assessments, and provide timely feedback to studentsUndertake high quality teaching as part of the teaching team, including participation in moderation of marking exercises and benchmarkingUndertake course coordination duties, under supervision of the Program DirectorConduct research and scholarly activity which will result in publications in refereed journals and in presenting conference papersEssential Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated ability and experience carrying out teaching activities in a wide range of related courses, which are academically relevant and reflect contemporary pedagogical, student and professional needs and standardsA demonstrated ability to provide teaching and supervision of Public Health studentsA demonstrated capacity to provide discipline input to the Public Health curriculum including program accreditation and benchmarking processes, as relevantCultureAt the University of South Australia, we value workplace diversity and are committed to providing a supportive, inclusive, and respectful work environment for all people.
