As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical, you will be responsible for maintenance and modification of the EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment. The work pattern is a day/evening shift rotation, and a degree of flexibility with working hours and locations is required. The role will require travel during the initial stages of employment, including time spent in Nowra, NSW, for initial on-the-job training, initial aircraft training in the Brisbane area, and Engine type training in the Sydney area.ResponsibilitiesAircraft flight-line handling and servicing duties.Mechanical aircraft and component servicing.Ensuring all maintenance tasks are carried out as per the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation.Removal and installation of aircraft components, disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components.Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment and inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of components and systems operating in both line and base maintenance environments.Experience/QualificationsCertificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical)Safran Arrius B2 line 1 and 2 maintenance trainingAbility to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit, and organizational goalsCurrent B1.3 MAML or the ability to obtain (Desirable)Previous experience working on Rotary Wing Aircraft (Desirable)H135 T3H Aircraft Type course (Desirable)Security Clearance/EligibilityYou will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA.
