We are seeking a dedicated Collections Officers to join our Victorian State Government Department's team for a 3-6 month assignment to manage overdue accounts, resolve disputes, and support customers in a fast-paced, customer-centric role.
Key ResponsibilitiesDebt Recovery & Dispute Resolution - Proactively manage overdue accounts, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with approved guidelines.Negotiation & Payment Arrangements - Work with customers to establish fair and manageable payment plans.Workflow Management - Process financial requests such as payment arrangements, extensions, and direct debit requests.Record Keeping - Maintain accurate customer interaction records and provide timely reports when required.Compliance - Ensure all debt collection activities align with legal and company policies.Cross-Functional Support - Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
