About the Role
We are looking for our next Leasing Manager to join our Property and Procurement Team. In this role, you will report to the National Leasing Manager and handle day-to-day lease management and negotiations with landlords. Plus, you’ll keep the business updated on market changes and manage lease obligations throughout the lease term.
You will help align our business strategies by providing market insights to guide business decisions, manage and enforce lease obligation and track key performance metrics like lease savings. You’ll package proposals, work with lawyers on lease dealings and enforcement of obligations and handle complex negotiations.
Additionally, you’ll interpret leases, manage payments, report risks, and ensure lease compliance. You’ll analyse market trends, seek new opportunities, manage site exits, and handle system administration. You’ll also contribute to team culture, and continuously improve processes, implement best practices, all whilst embodying BOQ Group values.
About you
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for someone with a degree in Property or a related field, and experience in property management and/or retail leasing. If you have a knack for retail property management and leasing, with strong negotiating and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of legal processes, leases, and legislation, we want you on our team!
You’ll need strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office. We’re seeking someone with national-scale experience who can build and maintain relationships at all levels.
This role offers the excitement of occasional travel and the opportunity to work in Brisbane. While we prefer more experience in commercial/retail property management, some exposure to leasing is essential. You’ll also need knowledge of financial reconciliation, leasing and contracts, and strong negotiation skills.
