Join our Bunbury Children's Contact Service as a Contact Support Worker! In this role, you will promote the wellbeing of children during either a supervised visit or changeover to a parent/guardian by supervising interactions and behaviours to ensure the children feel safe and comfortable. Supervising the visit/changeover, you will also write reports for the family court.
Part time opportunity (7.5 hours per week) working every Saturday and based in Bunbury.

To be successful in this role you will:
* Hold a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Community Services or relevant field, be working towards or have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field.
* Have knowledge of the impact on children and families of issues such as Family Separation, Family and domestic violence, Mental Health, drug and Alcohol misuse, and Trauma.
* Have a strong focus on supporting children and adults to enhance relationship development as well as identifying and responding to safety and risk issues.
* Have a commitment to child-focused and child-inclusive practice.
* Ability to work weekends and attend after-hours training.
The successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, WA Working with Children Check, and WA Drivers Licence.
Base rate of $37 per hour + weekend penalties + 11.5% superannuation.
