Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Youth Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals residing in our residential facilities. As a Residential Youth Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting independence, well-being, and a safe living environment for our residents. This position requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.Responsibilities:Provide personalized care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores.Foster a positive and inclusive environment by promoting social interaction, organizing recreational activities, and encouraging residents' participation.Monitor and document residents' progress, behaviors, and any significant changes, promptly reporting to the appropriate personnel.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized care plans.Maintain a clean and safe living environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.Offer emotional support and crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating empathy and understanding.Attend training sessions and stay updated on best practices in residential care.About YouThe ideal person for this role would be enthusiastic, understanding, empathetic, an open mindset and importantly passionate about working with young people to create a positive and safe living environment.
