Your New Role As a credit/collections officer, you will be reporting into credit team leader and working with a wider team of 15.
You will: Provide quality customer service to the Accounts Receivable team in Collections, Banking, Credit Applications, and other required functions.
Collect outstanding debts on the assigned ledger.
Act as a team player and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders within the business.
Telephone work Take action on all outgoing telephone and email communications regarding outstanding debt on the assigned ledgers.
Respond in a timely manner to phone messages from customers or internal staff.
Escalate queries/collection problems to the Credit Manager.
Record all Notes in Customer Maintenance.
Monitor accounts for Reminder and Demand emails/letters.
Recommend accounts for Notice of Intention to Sue emails/letters.
Review and release orders on Hold as needed.
Ensure Customer Information is current and reflects accurate entity names, contact details, addresses, and contact numbers.
What you'll need to succeed 1-2 years credit/collections experience Proactive, 'can do' attitude – detail oriented and energetic.
