The role will work in the Platform team providing strategy & technology roadmap for future SG Fleet’s cloud & hosted solutions. Leading the research in new technologies, developing quality architecture documentation & help multiple teams with training & onboarding. The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: • Provide Group leadership in architecture, design, patterns, and practice to support the organisation’s implementation of business systems across a variety of software and infrastructure platforms. • Evangelise group standards and best practice supported by quality documentation catering both technical & business stakeholders including senior business management, technology leadership and solution delivery teams. • Work directly with solution delivery teams to provide expertise and guidance around architecture with a particular focus on utilising sgfleet group standards to deliver business outcomes. • Work across a breadth of software and infrastructure components to design wholistic solutions including both public & private clouds. • Research concepts, conduct special studies, develop proof-of-concepts based on various technologies to exploit new opportunities to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the solution delivery and innovation teams. • Work with operational teams to ensure solutions are manageable and maintainable and ultimately supporting the requirements to which they were designed. • Where required, provide leadership, management and mentoring to individuals, external vendors to achieve project outcomes. Essential • Will have developed skills in business, process and operations analysis, systems testing, documentation and progressing their understanding of systems operations and applications and their impact • Extensive experience in Solution Architecture domain with least three years practical experience in a senior technical leadership position in a medium-large size commercial environment • Extensive Cloud Architecting experience, delivering high-performing business solutions, preferably for Azure. • Proven experience in defining Enterprise architecture standards & development of technical documentation for same • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture with one or more successful implementation, either in a greenfield project or a monolith migration WHAT'S NEXT We'd love to hear from you if you're ready to take on your next challenge at a company that embodies diversity and belonging and offer work-life balance and career development.
