About The Role: Lead the development and execution of the Annual Audit Plan, ensuring a risk-based approach to assurance. Provide independent insights and recommendations on risk and control matters to senior leadership and the Audit, Finance, Risk and Compliance Committee (AFRC C ). Oversee and execute internal audit activities, including investigations and compliance reviews. Manage relationships with outsourced internal audit partners, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Promote a proactive safety and risk culture, aligning audit activities with organisational strategy. Engage with operational teams to embed a client-centric mindset in audit processes. Provide training and support to enhance audit awareness and risk maturity across the organisation. Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an audit function, with a focus on third-line assurance. Proven experience as a Senior Auditor, Lead Auditor, or Principal Auditor. Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Finance, IT, or a related field (desirable). Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, or ISACA (preferred). Strong ability to analyse complex situations, provide practical solutions, and influence key stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey the importance of internal controls. Experience in the disability, community, aged care, or health industry (preferred).
