About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Performance Officer (APO) to join our team, working under the direction of the Asset Performance Supervisor. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the administration and delivery of HP maintenance contracts in the Lismore area. Your primary responsibility will be to scope, plan, and manage a planned maintenance program using Property Assessment Survey (PAS) data and local knowledge to ensure allocated properties are maintained effectively and meet compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct and report on field inspections, ensuring compliance with Australian Building Codes, Housing Portfolio standards, and contract requirements.
* Deliver accurate, timely scoping of maintenance works and develop action plans to address any issues, ensuring effective service delivery.
* Build positive relationships with contractors, facilitating smooth inspection and maintenance programs, and collaborate to resolve compliance issues.
* Maintain thorough records of inspections, findings, and action steps, reporting emerging issues to management and making recommendations to improve program delivery.
Requirements:
* Experience in property maintenance, asset management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of building codes and standards.
* Proficiency in using data (PAS or similar) to assess property needs and implement maintenance programs.
* Excellent communication skills to work effectively with contractors, management, and other stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently, with a focus on accuracy, detail, and compliance.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in field inspection and maintenance program management.
* Strong understanding of Australian Building Codes and Housing Portfolio standards.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Ability to develop and implement effective action plans.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A valid driver's license, White Card is essential.
A valid WWCC or the ability to obtain one is essential
A National Criminal Record Check will be required
