James Cook University (JCU) is looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our dynamic Marketing, Future Students and Admissions team.Casual$49.17 - $55.77 (depending on skills and experience)Based at our Townsville Bebegu Yumba campusABOUT THE ROLEAs a Digital Content Producer, you will be accountable for:Creating compelling, accurate and engaging content across a variety of digital channels including: website, social media, webinars and digital video platforms.Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, to source and create short and long form copy and multimedia content suitable for different customers and stakeholders, which can be repurposed across a range of channels.Strong visual and communication skills to capture, edit and publish engaging content that effectively communicates key messaging.Understanding modern communication styles and staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDegree qualifications or significant experience or a combination of training/education.Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering effective digital content on time that meets client requirements and grows engagement on digital marketing platforms.Effective computer literacy and a demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and utilise a range of data to review and evaluate the strategic achievements of a project or event.Demonstrated well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain working relationships, including demonstrated ability to consult and liaise with varying levels of stakeholders to achieve outcomes for the organisation.Significant organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative.Additional InformationThis position may be required to travel within the region including overnight stays and perform after-hours work on occasion.It is a requirement of this position to hold a current Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card).It is a requirement of this position to hold a current ‘C’ class Queensland Drivers Licence.HOW TO APPLY AND CONTACT DETAILSAre you ready to make a difference?
