Flourish Australia is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Courier Driver to join our team based in Marrickville, driving across the Sydney region. The position available is: Ongoing Full-Time (76 hours/fortnight) Based in Marrickville, with travel required across the Greater Sydney region Working Monday to Friday Attractive hourly rates equivalent to SES Grade 4 $26.32 /hour 11.5% Super Tax-Free Salary Packaging About the Opportunity Courier Drivers are required to pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes, time schedules and to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client. This position involves organisational duties interfacing with people, computers and telephone communications. A high level of interpersonal skills and customer service is required. Main duties include (but are not limited to)- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied. Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. Operating vehicles in a safety and competent manner. Selection Criteria Essential: Well-developed level of interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience working as a courier driver or delivery driver. Valid driver's licence issued by the state where you intend to work. Clean driving record. Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods. Attention to detail.
